It&#8217;s a nuisance to interrupt your painting to look for the right tube of paint that just ran out. It&#8217;s also a bore having to throw away expensive paints. Especially when I\u00a0have only brief occasions when I&#8217;m able to paint among other responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>I learned from Davide, a friend of mine in Firenze, a nice way to store paint for the next painting session. I pick up the clean paint piles, and wrap them in a small piece of wax paper and place them in some air tight container. When I continue, I again place the paint on the pallette and continue painting. If I have mixed a larger batch of some specific colour, I can save also that for the next time.
